Monsanto Company Adopts Human Rights Policy
Monsanto adopted its Human Rights policy on April 19, 2006. The purpose of the policy is to emphasize our commitment to its principles and the importance we place on these issues. The Human Rights policy is an important manifestation of the company’s values as described in the Monsanto Pledge. It creates a metric to which we will hold ourselves accountable, and it demonstrates our commitment to human rights in the conduct of our business globally.
