Growing the Future of Agriculture

As a company focused solely on agriculture, Monsanto is committed to educational programs, scholarships and internships that generate excitement in learning about agriculture, choosing ag-related studies and pursuing careers in the industry.

Youth Organizations
Monsanto is devoted to youth organizations from the elementary through the college years. We help prepare today’s young people to become tomorrow’s leaders in feeding, fueling and clothing the world.

Scholarships and Awards
Monsanto offers a variety of scholarships to recognize, reward and encourage students to continue their education in ag-related fields. Driven by the desire to actively support expanding development of future industry leaders, Monsanto seeks out exceptional students who have long-term career interests in agriculture.

Over the past 10 years, we have donated close to $1.5 million in scholarships and awards to thousands of students.

Internships and Co-op Assignments
Monsanto invests in college students looking to gain professional experience. Through our internship and co-op programs, these students can experience a career in agriculture while working toward a degree in their field of study.

We offer internships in Technology, Animal Ag, Commercial, Finance, Manufacturing/Seed Operations and Purchasing areas. Longer co-op assignments are available in Information Technology and Supply Chain Management.

Farm Safety
Monsanto understands the need to protect rural families from farm accidents and injuries. We are committed to ensuring the safety of children on farms. Our seed research and production sites have taken a leadership role in sharing farm safety programs and demonstrations with local communities. We also offer financial support to ensure safety lessons are making a difference in the lives of all farm families.
