March 13, 2008 Applications available for 2008 Monsanto Hawaii Life Sciences Scholarship. -- High school seniors in Hawaii who interested in pursuing a science degree are invited to apply for the Monsanto Hawaii Life Sciences Scholarship. A total of ten (10) scholarships of $1,000 each will be awarded in 2008. The educational grants are designed to help students further their education in the sciences.

February 28, 2008 The Friends of Molokai High & Middle Schools Foundation has received a $6,500 grant from the Monsanto Fund to support science education on Molokai. -- Last year, a $10,000 grant from the Monsanto Fund was used to purchase a wide array of educational materials and supplies for Molokai Middle School and Molokai High School. The high school used the funds to help re-build its science facilities after losing classrooms and a lab when the high school and middle schools were separated in 2005.

January 14, 2008 Applications available for Monsanto Hawaii Science Education Fund -- Applications are now available for the Monsanto Hawaii Science Education Fund, established by the Monsanto Fund to promote science education in Hawaii public schools.

December 30, 2007 Monsanto Hawaii Employees Donate Bikes for Maui’s Tykes -- Employees of Monsanto Hawaii donated 40 bicycles along with helmets and safety information for children 12 and under, and 9 gift cards for teens to Big Brothers-Big Sisters of Maui at the nonprofit organization’s holiday party held this month.

September 4, 2007 Ten students selected for Monsanto Hawaii Life Sciences Scholarships -- Ten Hawaii students were awarded $1,000 each in the 2007 Monsanto Hawaii Life Sciences Scholarship program.

April 10, 2007 Monsanto expands science scholarships to ten statewide -- High school seniors interested in pursuing a science degree are invited to apply for the Monsanto Hawaii Life Sciences Scholarship, which has been expanded statewide to ten scholarships of $1,000 each. The educational grants are designed to help students further their education in the sciences.

April 4, 2007 Monsanto to expand long-term agriculture on Oahu -- Monsanto Company has entered into an agreement to acquire approximately 2,300 acres of agricultural-zoned land in Kunia, Oahu, from the James Campbell Company. Monsanto intends to keep this land in long-term agricultural use.

March 23, 2007 Monsanto Hawaii enters land lease for long-term agricultural use on Molokai -- Monsanto Hawaii has entered into a 99-year lease for three agricultural land parcels owned by Molokai Properties Limited (MPL). Monsanto Hawaii intends to keep the land in long-term agricultural production.

February 22, 2006 Ko'ie'ie Fishpond Receives $5,000 Grant from Monsanto Hawaii -- The Ko'ie'ie fishpond restoration project in Kihei received a $5,000 grant from Monsanto Hawaii to help restore and preserve this ancient fishpond and its surrounding area for cultural, historic and educational purposes.

July 21, 2005 Santamaria, Wong selected for 2005 Monsanto Hawaii Life Sciences Scholarships -- Aimee Santamaria of Makawao, Maui, and Dayton Wong of Kaunakakai, Molokai, were selected to receive Monsanto Hawaii's 2005 Life Sciences Scholarships.

January 13, 2005 Monsanto Hawaii donates to Maui United Way -- Monsanto Hawaii has donated $750 to the Maui United Way, bringing its total cash and in-kind donations to Maui nonprofits to more than $136,000 over the past five years.

October 17, 2004 Art Education on Maui Gets A Boost From Monsanto Hawaii Grant to Maui Arts & Cultural Center -- Thousands of Maui children will continue to develop an appreciation for the arts, thanks in part to a $20,000 grant from Monsanto Hawaii to the Maui Arts & Cultural Center's "Partnering for Arts and Education" Program.
